  • God has provided a perfect Savior.

By revealing over three hundred prophecies in the Scriptures, God has enabled us to identify His Son who took on our humanity in order to save us from our sin.

Jesus the Messiah fulfills all of these prophesies in minute detail. For instance:
    The Messiah's Lineage
    Genesis 15; 2 Samuel 7:12; Matthew 1
    The Messiah's Birthplace
    Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1
    The Messiah's Ministry
    Isaiah 9:1-2; 42:1-4;
    Matthew 4:12-17
    The Messiah's Righteous Life
    Jeremiah 23:5-6; Romans 5:19
    The Messiah's Suffering in Death
    Isaiah 53; Psalm 22; John 19-20
    The Messiah's Resurrection
    Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:31
    The Messiah's Glory
    Psalm 68:18; Luke 24:51
    The Messiah's Rejection
    Psalm 35:19; John 15:25

The Son of God left heaven and entered this world through the womb of a virgin. By taking to Himself true humanity, He could represent mankind and free believing sinners from their disobedience. He did this by obeying the Law of God in their place, and by suffering the penalty of their disobedience-- which was death.

"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, To redeem them that were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons" (Galatians 4:4-5). "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (1 Corinthians 15:21-22).

Adam and Christ are the two men through whom God has dealt with all mankind. What each of them has done has affected us all. Adam's disobedience brought death to all; Christ's obedience brings life to believing sinners.

God deals with us in the person of a representative. Who represents you?
