His resurrection was a powerful declaration that He was indeed the Son of God (Romans 1:4). He reversed the curse of death and secured the sentence of righteousness for believing sinners. His resurrection guaranteed that there would be a resurrection for man as well. "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (1 Corinthians 15:21-22). The Scriptures prophesy that Jesus will return to earth some day to rule as the King of the world. This coming is prophesied in the Scriptures and will be preceded by many signs. He could return in your lifetime. Are you ready for His Coming?

For the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ there is the hope of a physical resurrection to eternal life. Can you imagine being raised from the dead and living eternally in a body that will not decay nor grow old?

For the one who rejects the Lord, there will be a resurrection of the body as well. But rather than spending eternity with God, He will spend eternity in the lake of fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels. "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15).
