    Back - Forward
  • How do I receive this new life?

Repent and believe the good news of Jesus Christ! Your response to the good news will determine your eternal destiny. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me" (John 14:6).

Your association with the Lord Jesus Christ determines your acceptance with God. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).

Sinner, abandon your own efforts at righteousness and turn back to God. You are His creature. In your rebellion, there is no hope for your soul. Your willful disobedience deserves His righteous judgment. Turn to God, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is all you need. He has never turned anyone away. He has never closed His ear to a sinner's call for His salvation. He will personally represent anyone who places his or her faith in Him. With Him as your Savior, you are no longer an enemy of God under wrath; but you are reconciled, forgiven, welcomed, and embraced in the arms of a loving Father.

If you come to Him, you will find forgiveness for all your sins, no matter what they are. In Him, you will find everlasting life. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:9, 13). "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

Jesus did everything that was necessary in order for believing sinners to stand legally innocent before God and His perfect Law. Therefore God sees believers the same way He sees Jesus: legally perfect and innocent. The Lord Jesus Christ offers a perfect righteousness for you. His perfect obedience in life has fulfilled the demands of God's law; His perfect obedience in death has paid the penalty for your breaking God's law. This is Good News!
