At 30 years old, Marchment boasts an impressive career record, having scored 80 goals and provided 122 assists, totaling 202 points over 331 NHL games played with teams such as Seattle, Dallas, Florida, and Toronto. His stats also reflect his physical style of play, with 284 penalty minutes, 503 hits, and a solid +60 plus/minus rating since entering the league during the 2019-20 season with the Maple Leafs. In the current season alone, Marchment has played in 29 games for the Kraken, contributing 4 goals and 9 assists, accumulating a total of 13 points along with 26 penalty minutes and 38 hits, all while averaging nearly 17 minutes of ice time per game.

Born in Uxbridge, Ontario, Marchment initially signed as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he spent part of the 2019-20 season. He then enjoyed a two-year period with the Florida Panthers before moving on to the Dallas Stars, where he had remarkable success. During his tenure in Dallas from 2022 to 2025, he accumulated 56 goals and 75 assists, resulting in 131 points over 211 games, including notable back-to-back seasons where he netted 22 goals each year. His standout performance in the 2023-24 season saw him achieve a career-high of 22 goals and 31 assists within 81 games. Marchment has also demonstrated his skills in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, participating in 59 games where he recorded 11 goals and 8 assists, along with 60 penalty minutes.
Standing at 6 feet 5 inches and weighing 212 pounds, Marchment has further showcased his talents in the American Hockey League (AHL), posting 38 goals and 34 assists across 130 games with the Toronto Marlies and Springfield Thunderbirds between 2015 and 2020. Additionally, during his junior hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) from 2014 to 2016, he amassed 77 points from 28 goals and 49 assists over 115 games played for teams including the Mississauga Steelheads, Hamilton Bulldogs, and Erie Otters.
