In an exciting development for the Tampa Bay Rays, the team officially unveiled their complete coaching staff on Tuesday, highlighting the appointment of Will Bradley as their new assistant hitting coach, thus completing the roster of coaches. Previously, in the 2025 season, Bradley served as a minor league hitting coordinator.
Will Bradley brings a wealth of experience to the role, having transitioned from being a college player and coach to joining the professional baseball scene with the Los Angeles Angels in 2019. His journey with the Rays began as a hitting coach at the Triple-A level, after which he took on the responsibility of coordinating hitting strategies. Notably, he has also had the honor of coaching for the Australian national team. This upcoming season marks Bradley's first time working on a Major League Baseball staff, where he will share the responsibilities of assistant hitting coach alongside Ozzie Timmons.
Additionally, the Rays made headlines last month by announcing that former All-Star Corey Dickerson is stepping in as the team's first base coach. He takes over this position from Michael Johns, who has moved on to join Blake Butera’s coaching crew in Washington.
Most of the coaching team under manager Kevin Cash remains unchanged from the previous season, ensuring continuity as they strive for success. Returning members of Cash's staff include bench coach Rodney Linares, pitching coach Kyle Snyder, hitting coach Chad Mottola, third base coach Brady Williams, assistant pitching coach Rick Knapp, bullpen coach Jorge Moncada, field coordinator Tomas Francisco, and process/development coach Kris Goodman.
